Responsive Space
Space is no longer a sanctuary. Anti-satellite demonstrations and threats have clearly shown how the satellites that keep all of us safe are vulnerable to attack and currently too hard to replace.
But new capabilities in responsive space, like airborne launch and highly capable small satellites, offer a way to keep us safe in space and on the ground.
In this video, former US Secretary of Defense Ash Carter, former US Director of National Intelligence Adm. Dennis Blair, and former astronaut and Commander of US Joint Functional Component Command for Space Gen. Susan Helms share their thoughts on the importance of responsive space.
